Resolved Question: How long did it take to get a death certificate?

My husband passed away December 23, 2009, and we still don't have the autopsy results. He died in Georgia, while working out of town, and as a construction worker, was staying in a cheap motel. We have the toxicology reports, which were negative for anything, and the coroner has stated that they believe it's natural causes (he had a hyper-active thyroid), but the state is taking so long to do the autopsy. His body was taken to the state medical examiner's offices, where they've taken samples of all organs due to the fact that he was cremated. What is the longest you've heard of and a general situation. I keep getting told that it's a low priority since he appeared to die of natural causes (not murdered), and that the state has had budget cuts. My first husband's death certificate was available the day after the funeral (not my 1st time being widowed) The bank is foreclosing on our home since I can't prove he died. The death certificate has been ordered by the funeral home, and it's not available yet.

hello everyone my name is tiffereny okay well me and my husband have been married for 3 years as of dec 21 2009 and we fight alot over stupid thing but lately i have been geting email from people i dont even know telling me he has been cheating i had this one who could tell me alot about him like his first name his moms nmae ware we live his brith date my full nmae and i let it going thinking maybe it was someone from work who didnt like him or some one he pissed off there is a x friend chris who i till from this day really dont know why they r fighting they were really close befor they left to get there eyes fix he tells me its bc of owning him money or sonthing do i need to worrie about that? also my husband was on hookt i think i spell that right talking to woman senting and geting pic i notice he got really funny about me geting one his phone and he wood go to bed really early and we stop haveing sex for the longest time and when i wood walk into the room he was on his phone he wood say checking the time or be hard i findly found it one night when i came house from work and needed to use a phone he was hafe asleep and hand me his phone and it was open so i left for 2 days he cryed and findly like a ass came back he was godd for about 2 day then everything went back he never leave his phone laying around and one night he got a text from some girl say hey baby how was ur weekend he told me he had no ideal who it was and dealt it fast so anyway i findly found his hookt i knew it was hkilla but i did no the pass word he told me he had no ideal what it was so one day he was at work and i call the hookt number to find out the past word and when i got on he was sweet talking people talking about things i didnt even no he like he was telling everyone i was his girl friend that live with him he was married meeting these girl at moltels all kinds of shit but like alway he said it wasnt him that he did tell chris his info and that he was geting on there but i dont beive it i know deep down it was him and i dont no what to do he said he loves mea am the only one for him but i just cant get over it i just never pic him doing something like this oh and yea we were in korea befoe we came to az and he went to georgia and i went to newyork he told me he was going to see his sick papa witch he was sick but he was with his family maybe a 4 day then he went and party with his friend stay in a motel he was down there 2 weeks i maybe talk to him 4 times oh also we deside not to have a myspace in korea bc of all the bull shit i found out he did and he was talking to his x girlf telling her we rnt doing so great thats why he coming down there and am not he did findly come up to new york and we had sex 6 times in one day we never done that look i can come up with alot of storys but that wood take way to long look help me i just really dont no what to do anymore

Tell me if you think the below one I wrote is good (so far)? I still have some more to write. Martin Luther King Jr, was a dedicated leader born January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia. Luther was a person that was appalled by slavery which became very popular in the 1900's. He was also a pasture and a motivational speaker who tried to stop all violence, slavery and cruelty. Martin Luther King also wrote "I have a dream speech." He was assassinated today at 3:00 pm, April 4, 1968. Killed while standing on the balcony of his room at the Lorraine Motel at Memphis, TN, and was found sprawled and laid out on the floor dead. Martin was shot by a sniper rifle's bullet which flew out very fast and unknowingly. He will be deeply missed for his great motivational speeches that spoke out against slavery and eventually led way to a new amendment abolishing slavery. He was confirmed dead at 3:20 pm. Civilian Kyle says "I don't know what happened! A bullet went flying and I heard screaming, I later found out it was Martin and we were in completely shock!" This is a tragedy that will take time to heal. He will be missed by many. Is this too much past tense? How would I convert to present tense?

Voting Question: Wife is in jail on drug & child cruelty charges. Does the temporary visitation agreement still apply?

My brother's soon-to-be ex-wife is currently in jail on felony drug charges, felony credit card fraud charges, and cruelty to children charges. She has no one who is willing to bond her out and is actually being held for subsequent transfer to a different county for MORE felony credit card fraud charges. We live in Georgia and they currently have a temporary visitation agreement between them that states that they are to exchange their two children (ages 2 and 7 months) on a week to week basis. Before her arrest on November 25, 2009, she was living in an extended-stay motel with another person. The cruelty to children charge stems from her oldest daughter being present at the time when officers were anonymously called to the motel on suspicion of child abuse and found her surrounded in tons of prescription pill bottles filled with Percocets and OxyContins - none of the scrips, of course, were hers. She already lost custody of her oldest daughter, age 4, as of last week to her parents due to this matter and my brother is seeking full custody of their two children. She is still in jail and will definitely be there at least for a few more weeks, but the judge in the divorce is ordering that my brother and his wife seek mediation to settle the visitation and custody. His fear now is that IF and WHEN she gets out, she will try to gain access to their children and impose the week-to-week custody agreement until they can get a mediation date or court date. My brother is scared to death that she will get out and attempt to take the kids, in which case, if she calls the police and shows them court documents, they'll make him hand the children over. Does the nature of her current charges affect whether or not she can actually be allowed to potentially have the children for a week at a time, even though she has no home, no car, no job, and no way to actually care for them? Do charges of this nature deem the parent as unfit and therefore unsuitable to exercise visitation or is there something more that he can do to protect his children? (His lawyer is extremely difficult to get a hold of and we are all currently seeking other counsel - I'm asking here more for peace of mind.)

Hello all. I don't have many choices left. Since my mother died my life has been going in a constant downward spiral. Now my landlord wants me out in six months or pay $1500 rent. I have no intention of paying that much for this awful place. If they let me stay till the warmth of may or June I can sleep in the local park, the homeless shelters in my area brooklyn ny all have 3 yr waiting lists. I have money but no one will rent to me, I have no job. So I thought to myself what if I walked across America? Walk by day and at night sleep in a motel? The only problem is i don't quite know how to do this. I don't know what the best routes to take from bushwick Brooklyn out of the city into new jersey and west verginia and the carolinas and Georgia and Florida. New Orleans Oaklahoma Texas and so fourth. Is there anyone who has done this, or would anyone like to come along with me if I do choose to go? Any help would be appreciated. Would be nice to have a waking companion.
