Richmond at Motelswithall

Richmond is one of the top tourist destinations of Indiana. It is a city full of history and at the same time enjoys a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. The old town has some of the finest historical architecture, in contrast with the gleaming modern structures in the new town.

You can get there by flying on a Indiana Airline which offer budget flights daily to a nearby airport. Alternatively you can take a train or Greyhound bus from a number of other destinations.

You can stay in one of Richmond's many elegant resort hotels, or for the budget traveler, the city offers a number of inns and motels. If you are staying longer, you might consider renting a holiday condo or apartment.

When you are in Richmond you can simply enjoy the sun, or there are a number of other opportunities for sightseeing - a visit to the city's museums and galleries is always worthwhile. Alternatively you could explore the narrow streets of the old town on foot, shopping for souvenirs in the many charming designer boutiques. On Sundays the central park is always full of young people who meet for picnics under the shady trees. For the more active, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis. Those who enjoy water-sports can go fishing or swimming. You will probably want to hire a yacht or motor cruiser for the day to reach the best locations.

Getting around Richmond couldn't be more easy. The city is well served by taxicabs and a modern bus network. If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Indiana countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.

Richmond comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.

Whatever your interest, Richmond, Indiana, has something unique to offer.

Resolved Question: What's the best way to fund a road trip through America?

Me and my girlfriend live in the UK and have both visited places in America - but there are still places we want to visit. like... New England, New Orleans, Texas, Indiana, Miami, San Francisco, Alabama etc and we want to do a road trip. I think it's probably best to buy a little car as that will be cheaper but as we won't have a forever supply of money, i just wondered if its possible to earn a little bit of money on the way? like farm hands, anything really, just for gas money, food and motels etc. any tips or advice would be great. Many thanks

Resolved Question: Should I drive or should I fly to Indiana?

It's me and a 9 month old and a 5 year old. No other adults. It's about 14 hours actual driving time (we'd have to stop and stay over at a motel along the way). There are no direct flights. It's 2 hrs. drive to the airport, 1 hr to check in and board, 2 hrs. flight, then 1.5 hrs. layover, then another 1 hr. flight, then about 40 min. after leaving the plane and getting the luggage to our final destination.

Resolved Question: Blink 182 Concert Pit. What time should i arrive?

hi, im going to The Blink 182 reunion tour this summer on August 20 with two friends in Indiana. One of my friends dad managed to get us Three Pit tickets today before they sold out. Now the concert is in Indiana and We live in Chicago, so our plan is to basically stay in a motel near the Verizon Music Center the night before and night after, obvioulsy since we are pit, we want to try to get really close to the stage. What time in the morning should we get to the Areana so we can be first in line. Were thinking of going very early in the morning with a tent and blankets, which the dad will pick up later in the day. do you guys have any suggestion what time we should srrive in the arena. (hah sorry it was kind of long) **The 3 of us are diehard fans, but were not the only ones and want to try to beat the crowds**

Resolved Question: OK, my gf that I'm meeting for first time is coming to visit Easter Weekend. Read on for more info.?

OK, we met online in October and spent tons of days together, talked on phone, now she visiting for Saturday and Sunday. I've gained her trust as much as I can by internet n phone. She's taking a train from Indiana to NY where I live. My parents and friends are skeptical and don't have trust in her. I'm disabled and can't drive, so I'll need to ask family or friend to pick her up and drop her off at train station, maybe even at her hotel/motel. Is this someting I could ask someone/others to do? or is that too much especialy for people who are suspicious and skeptical of her? Of course I'll ask, not expect. k, ty all.

Resolved Question: Is there an age limit for staying in motels?

I live in Orleans Indiana, and I am going to visit my girlfriend in Louisville, which is about 100 miles away, and her mom wont let me spend the night there (which is a reasonable action for a mother) so I need to stay in a motel, or my other option is to drive 100 miles in the dark, on unfamiliar roads, not having slept in about 20 hours =/ sounds daunting. If I could stay at a motel, it should be fine, but I'm 17 and my mom says they might not let me stay at a motel since I'm underage. Any suggestions? ummmm yea, credit cards and people over the age of 18 are out of the question >_> I'm definately not bringing my mom to hang out with me and my girlfriend
