Voting Question: NEED HELP ASAP!!!!ohio law regarding shutting off of utilities in apartments?
heres my situation:
my husband lost his job by way of layoffs about 2-3 months ago. he was able to obtain unemployment benefits;but not till late october.so because of that we were unable to pay our rent for october and november. we now owe the management company that handles our apartment and the entire set of townhomes around us almost $2,000 that we cannot pay (the rent was $850-which includes utilities, along with two $40 late charges.) so since the utilities are included with the rent, the management company shut off our power this morning;which i wouldnt mind,if we didnt have our 9 month old daughter.
we obviously need to think about our daughter and keeping her warm,so we got a motel for the night.(yes i realize we need to keep a roof over her head. we have a new apartment with lower rent already lined up but we cant move in for a few weeks so we have no choice but to stay where we are right now.)
tomorrow morning we are going to community action and if they can help us, they will pay the past due rent along with possibly 3 months rent, which we really dont need but they can also help us with the deposit on the new place.if the past due rent is paid we will be okay. even if they approve us for the assistance and cant help us with it immediately, what happens is they will call the landlord to let him know they are helping us with the rent, then he calls the management company who will then turn the power back on.
so;with all that said here's my question: IN OHIO;IS IT LEGAL FOR THE LANDLORD AND/OR THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY TO SHUT OFF OUR POWER AND/OR WATER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT PAID OUR RENT? IS THERE A LAW OR STATUTE THAT PREVENTS THEM FROM DOING SO IF WE HAVE A CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 1 LIVING WITH US?
i know in massachusetts you can apply for utility protection but i dont know if theres something like that in ohio
criticizing remarks would definitely not be welcome and i will automatically give you a thumbs down for it. that or i will report you for abuse
we had a 6 month lease the is already up but in the lease agreement it stipulates that if we decided to stay after the lease was up it would then turn into month-to-month.
basically what im getting out of all this is they are shutting off the power in an effort to get us out faster so they dont have to go through eviction proceedings

Voting Question: Is this a good movie idea?
The movie is called motel. It is a low budget film made my a 13 year old (me) and I am using it to see if I would to good as a director. Please be critical, I want the story to be really good.
Story Plotline
The movie opens on a robbery of a local bank in Leicester, Massachusetts. He two characters that rob the bank are known as Vinnie Soprano and Kenny Ortega. Once the steal the money, Ortega knocks Vinnie out and steals the money. Vinnie wakes up minutes (!) later and runs away. He comes upon a fairly dilapidated motel with an over cheerful clerk. He books a room for the next week. The clerk informs him that the town hall is holding an overly fancy diner, which Vinnie decides to go to. When Vinnie gets up to his room, there is a flashback sequence where Vinnie’s father never comes back from his job; a job that he could never tell his family about. The next day, Vinnie awakes and heads down to breakfast. There he meets a young couple, Mr. and Mrs. Den. After breakfast, Vinnie builds up the courage to call his boss. It is revealed that Vinnie is a part of the crime family, the same crime family as his brother. The boss, who we still don’t know the identity of, calls a meeting. At this meeting, Ortega is missing, and the boss does not reveal his/her identity. The family decides it does not condone bad behavior and Ortega will be punished. Vinnie returns to the motel and falls asleep. The next day Vinnie is seen getting ready for the Dinner. The movie then rewinds to the same time of the robbery, but on the other side of town. We see a young couple, who we already know as Mr. and Mrs. Den. They are in a car arguing over which direction they should take to Boston. Their car breaks down and Mr. and Mrs. Den have to stay at the Motel. They decide to go to bed early. The next day, they have breakfast with Vinnie. After that, Mr. Den goes to the repair shop to check when their car will be fixed. It is revealed that the couple was newly married, and they were taking a trip to visit Mr. Den (David)’s parents. The camera then shoots back to the hotel, where Mrs. Den (Maria) pulls out a video camera. The audience is now viewing through the video camera. Maria makes a comment on how stressful their lives have become. David and Maria decide to take a walk outside; the audience is still seeing through the video camera. There is a man about to jump off a nearby house. David begs the man to not jump off, telling him a story about when his dad died and how depressed he was. Mr. Den saves the man’s life. The next day, the couple is getting ready for the dinner. The audience is seeing through the regular camera now. Once again, the camera shows rewinded footage, and switches to Ortega as he runs away with the money from the robbery. Ortega runs to a special cabin in the woods. He calls the mob boss, who scolds him. It turns out that Vinnie was to be killed; he was becoming a liability to the family. The mob boss gives him a date, and tells him to kill Vinnie at a Dinner Party (remember, the mob boss has not called a meeting yet). Ortega sleeps in the cabin. The next day, Ortega sits down in opens a journal. A flashback sequence occurs. It shows Ortega trying to convince a teen Vinnie to join the crime family. It turns into a fight, where Ortega forces Vinnie in. It then shows Ortega preparing for the kill. The following day, Vinnie leaves for the Dinner party, ready for action; the camera the shows the rewinded footage, going back days before (like the previous rewinds). It starts with an aged sheriff on a crackdown with two other officers. After the crackdown, the two other police officers are scolded for not getting a file about the local crime family. The sheriff experiences a flashback, where it shows his daughter and wife being killed by a Danny, a member of the crime family. The sheriff returns to his home, alone. The next day, the Sheriff begins to go to the station, but is stopped by protesters in the front. The background of the sheriff, Steve Fargo, is brought to the screen. The sheriff lead the Leicester police to become corrupt, and put cases of the mob as the top priority, leaving other cases open. A local reporter try to interview, but the Sheriff pushes her away. The sheriff goes to his office and cries. He spends all night at the station. The next day, he decides to represent the police force at the dinner. He gets ready, and then leaves. The audience then sees the dinner, with all the characters attending, minus Ortega and most of the crime family except Vinnie. The dinner party proceeds normally until Ortega arrives and points a gun at Vinnie. Vinnie takes his gun out and points it at Ortega. Steve Fargo takes his gun and swivels it at both, recognizing them as part of the crime family. They all talk, and Vinnie lowers his gun, telling how he has nothing to live for. Out of anger, Steve Fargo shoots Vinnie, and then points his gun at Ortega. Just then, the rest of the crime family comes in; the Boss
