Voting Question: When I was 9, I felt good "down there" when I watched a girl almost my age, die on TV. Why the hell was this?

I was on vacation with my family at a motel in Missouri when I was 9. I think it was during Spring Break. I took a nap one evening, and woke up to my parents watching some R-rated movie. There was a man on a gurney, already dead. Some hoodlums poured acid on him. Then a cute little girl (about 7-9 years of age) was carried to a gurney next to his. Then they poured acid on her. She coughed. Another one of the hoodlums said, "She's not dead!" And another one replied, "Well it doesn't matter now." (Or something to that effect. When I saw her cough, I felt disturbed, but felt some kind of weird, pleasant feeling below my stomach. I did NOT know what it was at the time, and felt quite confused as to why I felt awful, but good about seeing this at the same time. Well, years later, I realized that this feeling was called "sexual arousal." I swear, it was an involuntary reflex action of some sort. I didn't "decide" to feel pleasure in seeing her get corroded by the bad guys; it just came like that. So, why did it? Why was I sexually aroused at such a disturbing scene at that age?
