Voting Question: is rent a tax deduction when working out of state?

in 2009, my husband started working construction and had to work in Texas (we live in Nebraska) for most of the year. Can deduct the UHAUL and his rent for while he was working there as an expense.. it was tough affording 2 places! I ve heard that milage for the travel, motel on the way of traveling to job is, but what about his rent he paid?

I'm not sure if this movie is old or not. I need to know the title, if anyone can help. The movie's plot deals with two guys (and later a girl) that are traveling cross-country around Nebraska. They have a CB Radio with them and they play a prank on a truck driver. They tell the driver to meet them at the Lone Star motel and when he realizes it's a joke, beats up the old geezer in that room. The trucker calls the girl "candy cane" and one of the guys calls himself, "Black sheep". Can anyone help? Sources are appreciated. Thanks.

Resolved Question: Best way to find things to do in your area? I need a vacation! Help! ?

I need a vacation. I NEED to break away for the weekend, but I am on a VERY tight budget. How can I find nice places to go in my local area or surrounding area? I live in Nebraska, but so far have been unable to come up with a lot. I don't want to go stay in a generic motel and do the same things I always do. Can anyone give me some references or ideas of things to do and cool places to stay in eastern Nebraska?

Resolved Question: My brother is in jail, what can i do?

My brother is 24, he's had a long history of stealing and lying... hes always been a lost soul.. Its sad. He's had anger problems, he's had personal problems, we lost our older brother to cancer in 2005 which was a huge set back for us all. He met some girl online, and lived in Alaska with her, he was convicted for a felony for stealing from motels as an employee (thousands of dollars) he did a few months jail, paid some of his restitution and moved back here at home with me. Now my brother has never broken the law in our state (Nebraska) only the states where he met girls online and lived with them. Alaska, now Illinois. He is now in jail for identity theft and burglary, the identity thefts (2 of them) are class 3 felonies, the burglary is class 2. He has a hearing of some sort the 23rd this month. What can I do to help him? Does anyone know? I'm so helpless and so is he! This would be his second conviction I believe. He stole a lot of money (thousands I hear), what can I do? Can I speak for him, is there anyway I can make this easier on him? Maybe push for a correctional facility? My brother DOES NOT belong in prison. He just doesn't understand that stealing is wrong and lying is wrong. He needs direction, when he's lived here with his family he never ever had problems. Its always when hes on his own... Is there any possible way we could talk to the judge or prosecutor(s)? Push for a correctional facility? Or at least long probation and pay whatever fines he owes? Or house arrest here back at my Dads home? WHAT CAN I DO?!?!?!?! I can't not fight for my brother. I love him. I know he's done wrong but theres gota be something I can do I have to put up some kind of fight for him. I wish I could take him back here and help turn his life around! What kind of sentence do you guys think my brother will be looking at? He's already a convicted felon. He stole over $2,000 from my aunt (Identity Theft) for a bill me later account... He did identity theft again with his ex girlfriends mother (stole thousands using a credit card in her name) and also burglary. I don't know what the burglary is for but he was convicted for his first felony in Alaska, now he's lived in Illinois since last July with a new girlfriend, he now is in jail for the class 2 felony (burglary) and two class 3 felonies (identity theft). What kind of sentence/probation will he get? Do you think theres a chance he might be let go and just pay restitution/fines or whatever and be on probation?? I'm having my doubts because he this is 2 strikes now, if convicted for the new felonies, he would be a convicted felon in multiple states Alaska/Illinois.
