Resolved Question: Do I have legal recourse over excessive breakdowns of 2008m2Freightliner bought new?

Bought the truck to make money. Husband & wife run team over the road. Been in shop 35 times, sometimes for a week for them to get a part. Most all repairs are covered under warranty, but the lost revenue & motel bills are killing me. Warranty is about to run out. Bought truck in Ohio. Can't make a living or pay the payments always in the shop. Average every other week in shop since I bought it new. Is there anything I can do about this? Who do I contact? Talked to a couple of lawyers & OOIDA but no help.

Looking for anything probably between Cleveland and Toledo. What towns would have the best rates (around $60?), and does anyone know of specific hotel/motels that are decent (i.e., not gross) with a decent continental breakfast?

My mother, as much I love her, tends to be controlling. My brother last year graduated from college at 23 and moved out of my parents house. We are from a small place where the furthest thing is maybe 45 min away and he was not used to long distance driving. He wanted to go out of town and my mother told him no because it was 8 hours away. He then called me for advice asking how long I was in the states before she let me drive long distance. I said I never asked permission. I was 20 when I got my own place and when I wanted to make a trip to visit my girlfriend's, now my wife, mother 15 hours away I just went. When she called me and asked what I was doing for the weekend I just said I am in Ohio and left it at that. He was shocked. I told him that with mom you just need to do what you want and tell her later. If you wait for her approval your life will never move forward. I told him since he had never driven long distance to stop for breaks and if he even got a little tired find a cheap motel or rest stop and sleep in the car. He went on the trip and my mother was so upset, he did not tell her what I said. I told one of my coworkers this and she said that I over stepped my bounds. I don't think so a 23 year old living on his own does not need his mother's permission to take a road trip. ON a side note My mother did not want my wife and I to adopt or be foster parents. If we didn't we would not have our son who she is now in love with and fawns over. I can not let her hang ups dictate my life. I need to live my life for me. I told my brother to do the same thing. My coworker thinks I should have let him figure out this life lesson on his own. Also she as a controlling parent feels that her son my brother's age should listen to their mother "advice"

It was dark and gloomy out, when I arrived at the motel. It was empty and had an eerie atmosphere to it. The open sign was flashing in the broken window, all I could think of was what kind of crime happened here. Then I noticed the owner screaming at some kids as they ran away. The owner, Miss Gill was an elderly lady with long snow white hair and piering brown eyes. People around here claimed she was some sort of "witch psycic" with spells and evil black cats. "How origianal" I whispered lighty to myself. As I walked towards the doorway I noticed a strange purple powder across the bottom of the steps. "Its elderberry powder, it keeps out the unwanted" Miss Gill said with a toothless grin. "You never know who or what lerks around here now a days" she said as I received a slight chill down my spine. I suddenly awoke from a nightmare all sweat covered. I have just realized that I blacked out once again. I have no memory of what happened after I checked in. I must have showered, worked on my poetry then fell asleep watching reruns of "Whos line is it anyway." Blacking out was something I dealt with many times before. Its been happening since I was a child, not understanding why or how but I would have died by now if it was real serious. Life still goes on though and I have came to be proud of myself for having over 7 best-selling science fiction books of 2005-2010. I walked to the office to ask Miss Gill where I could get something to eat, even though I knew the answer. She was no where in sight. "The town" was about 10 miles north. Harpers Gate has to have a population barley reaching 200 people. It is a small place named after some movie star who must have slept with some rich bastard. Jacob Sun owns everything in and around the town now except the dingy motel. People learn not to ask questions or poke around too much. Jacob is a very scary man. He inherited the town in 2001 when his father Seth Sun died in a tragic house fire. Some believe that Jacob murdered his own father for selfish reasons that are unknown to humans. Many rumors travel through this small town in Ohio. I went back to my motel room. I decided not to leave just to be on the safe side. The sky looked very disturbed and the wind was settleing down. Storms were common around here. The typical thunder storm with tornadeo warnings, but this was something different almost as if the world stoped.

I'm curious about traveling the United States a bit this break between spring and fall semester. Just the standard one person crap motel room. How much do they generally charge per night, that you are aware of? (thinking of states such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa area)

Resolved Question: My friend is moving.?

My friend Paige is moving. Me and Her have been friends for about 6 years now. I met her when my moms boyfriend ran a motel and she lived in the apt. above. When moms boyfriend moved away we moved to the apt and her family ran the motel. A year or 2 after her family moved. Not long after my mom decided to get a place not more than 4 places down. Now she is moving to Texas(Currently In Ohio) We are very close friends. And I am close to her family so if i got lonely at my house i could go to hers and hang out, even if she wasn't there. I love her little brother and her twin sisters along with her mom and dad. SO now that they are moving and Paige was the only Good friend i have around here and the only friends house that i could go to if i was lonely or something, i am having frequent panic attacks. I really don't want to sit around my house alone. I mean, before i could go to her house soon it wont be that way. Its really scary to me. I do not know if you are getting what i am saying but i need a little help. & I am very shy. so its hard to make new friends. I mean i have other best friends. (180 DAYS SUSPENDED, DEFERRED UNTIL 11/25/09,ALL PRIOR ORDERS) If my jail sentence was deferred until 11/25/09 can I still go to jail for violations of probation? I am still on probation until May 29th 2010. And can you get violated for thing such as: grandmother calling (they speak once every 3 weeks) and telling him I have been kicked out of her house, and have been hanging around the wrong people, hanging out at motels like i used to, and have no where to go? im 19 and live in mentor ohio if this makes any difference wouldnt it invade my rights if i was sent to jail? ive done nothing illeagle no real proof see him on all my scheduled appointments One time he added on 6 days to my 30 day sentence when he found i had nowhere safe to go, and kept me there until i finded a shelter found* and I wouldnt consider myself homeless. In his eyes I am. I live with friends and stay in motels.
