If you want to venture further afield you might hire a car and take of to see the sleepy villages in the Rhode Island countryside, or drive to the coast to while away the afternoon in one of the many secluded areas along the coastline.
Narragansett comes to life in the evening. The city has dozens of excellent bistros, delis, and restaurants, and there are many lively bars and clubs to while away the night into the early hours of the morning.
